Paying to not have mental health insurance can be a good thing
Obamacare will soon be repealed; and, from what I'm seeing, the Republicans are getting ready to replace it with what can be described as an Obamacare Lite. In other words, an effort at mandatory health insurance with a lot of other controls--but just not as many as before. This GOP cowardice makes me sick. I don't think that very many people understand that cheap medicine is painful medicine; and expensive welfare only delays the human condition while it takes down an entire society in the process.
I would love to have the opportunity to personally decide the fate of medicine in the U.S. I would declare total Capitalist Medicine this moment with no controls (i.e., no replacement). But, if my view does not prevail, I have one request. Can I pay money to not have mental health insurance?
