Vertex (VRTX) #1 in S&P 500 This Year

In a May 12th blog about the S&P 500 gainers and losers YTD, one of my investments came out on top.  Out of 500 stocks, Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) was up 55% since the beginning of trading in January, placing it as the best performing S&P stock this year.
